Overview

The Hallenberg Schützenfest 2025 took place from July 11th to 14th – three days of shooting traditions by the Schützengesellschaft 1827 with parade, bird shooting, and King's Dance. A classic Sauerland format in the Schützenhalle and the historic Hallenberg town center. One of the oldest Schützenfeste in the Hochsauerlandkreis.

The 2025 edition continued the Sauerland shooting tradition unbroken since 1827. Grand parade on Sunday, bird shooting on Monday – the two central moments.

Saturday: March through Hallenberg and concert at 8 PM in the Schützenhalle with a big band or shooting club band. Sunday: Grand parade at 2 PM through the town with marksmen, music bands, court, and the King and Queen; in the late afternoon, King's Dance and Children's Dance in the Schützenhalle; from 7:30 PM onwards, dance and party music with a festival band. Monday: Bird shooting at 11 AM at the range in front of the Schützenhalle, parade at 5 PM to escort the new King and Queen.
