Edition 2025 — Schützenfest Grinkenschmidt
The 2025 Grinkenschmidt Schützenfest once again drew thousands of visitors to the Waltrup Schützenplatz. With a festival parade, bird shooting, and King's Ball, the Münsterland tradition was masterfully maintained.
In 2025, the Whitsun Schützenfest of the Grinkenschmidt Marksmen's Club followed the classic Münsterland pattern: Saturday kick-off, Sunday festival parade, Monday bird shooting with king's proclamation, Tuesday winding down. Thousands of marksmen's friends from Altenberge and the surrounding area celebrated at the Waltrup Schützenplatz.

Four days of festivities with muster call, festival parade, bird shooting and king's proclamation, complemented by dance evenings in the marquee.
