Overview
The 2025 Schützenfest of the St. Josef Schützenbruderschaft Geistenbeck took place one week after Pentecost at Stapper Weg. With a parade on Sunday afternoon, reception of guest brotherhoods from Wickrath, Giesenkirchen, and Mülfort, a service, and the Vogelschuss on Monday, the event followed the proven course of a classic Lower Rhine Schützenfest. Actively accompanied by cover band CAEBO and Pipe-and-Drum Corps.
The 2025 edition was once again dedicated to “Faith – Custom – Homeland”. The reigning King Stephan Horn led the brotherhood's affairs, and the parade on Sunday brought together guest brotherhoods from all over the Lower Rhine. Highlight: the honouring of Hans Peter Otten for 50 years of active membership.
