Edition 2025 — Schützenfest Finnentrop
The Schützenfest of the BSV Finnentrop 1921 traditionally took place on the first weekend of July in 2025. Over three days, the festival gathered members, residents, and fellow Schützen from the southern Sauerland in the Schützenhalle and festival grounds. The King's Shoot, coronation ball, and festival parade marked the weekend.
In 2025, the BSV Finnentrop once again presented itself as a traditional Schützen club in the southern Sauerland. The blend of formal club rituals (opening ceremony, King's proclamation), convivial folk festival (beer tent, festival parade), and sporting shooting competition has been part of the club's DNA since 1921.
The continuous preservation of these traditions for over 100 years makes the BSV Finnentrop an important component of the Sauerland club landscape in the Olpe district.
