Overview
The 2025 Schützenfest of the Schützengesellschaft von 1889 Enger took place on the first weekend of July at Freizeitweg 8. Muster of the companies, parade on Sunday afternoon, king's shooting competition, and coronation ball followed the classic East Westphalian festival course. The club, with roots in the 19th century, presented its traditional customs to several thousand visitors from the Herford district and surrounding areas.
The 2025 edition once again delivered all the elements of a classic East Westphalian Schützenfest – muster, welcome of the King and Queen, parade, king's shooting competition, and dance evenings in the festival tent. With its several companies and over 130 years of history, SG Enger once again demonstrated why the Schützenfest is an integral part of Enger's town culture.
