Edition 2025 — Schützenfest Himmelgeist
The Schützenfest Düsseldorf-Himmelgeist 2025 took place as traditionally usual in August and followed the classic Düsseldorf four-day schedule: kick-off on Saturday, festive high mass and parade on Sunday, Klompenball on Monday, Coronation Ball with Grand Tattoo on Tuesday.
2025 Review
The Himmelgeist Schützenfest 2025 ran for four days in August, as in previous years. The St. Sebastianus Bruderschaft of 1641 continued its 384-year tradition, organizing the festival according to the classic Düsseldorf Schützenfest schedule with a kick-off on Saturday, parade and high mass on Sunday, Klompenball on Monday, and Coronation Ball with Grand Tattoo on Tuesday.
As always, friendly brotherhoods from the IGDS participated in the parade, and the festival tent was the central stage of the district on all evenings. The Klompenball on Monday evening confirmed its status as one of the most traditional dancing evenings in the Düsseldorf Schützenfest scene.
