Drütte and Watenstedt
The districts of Drütte and Watenstedt belong to the district of Bad in the southwestern part of Salzgitter. Both villages were profoundly changed by the establishment of the Reichswerke from 1937 onwards and the industrial history of Salzgitter AG. Today, the old village centre elements and the proximity to the steel industry shape the image simultaneously. The village community centres around the volunteer fire brigade, the sports club, and above all the Schützenverein Drütte/Watenstedt.

- Friday – Marquee opening, dance evening
- Saturday – Bird shooting, proclamation of the king, dance evening with live band
- Sunday – Festive parade through Drütte and Watenstedt, shooters' service, laying of wreaths, king's dinner, family programme
- Monday – Morning pint with brass band, king's breakfast, winding down
