Overview
The 2025 Schützenfest of BSV Rotthausen 1966 e.V. took place in June. At the club house Zum Rosengarten in Gelsenkirchen-Rotthausen, club members, royal courts, and guests gathered for the traditional shooting celebration. Bird shooting and the proclamation of the king followed the established procedure, and the shooting emperor couple was duly celebrated.
The 2025 shooting year proceeded as usual at BSV Rotthausen: Schützenfest in June, followed by regular club activities — and preparations for the big anniversary year 2026.
The shooting tradition in Gelsenkirchen-Rotthausen has been maintained without interruption since 1966. The club house Zum Rosengarten is the social center — it hosts not only the official Schützenfeste but also the annual Christmas shooting, the club Christmas party, and the mulled wine evening.
