Edition 2025 — Schützenfest Billerbeck
The Schützenfest of the Allgemeiner Billerbecker Schützenverein in 2025 took place as usual on the Schützenwiese am Weihgarten. A parade, the king's shooting competition, the proclamation of the new king, and a dance evening with the Billerbecker Blasorchester characterized the day. The Westmünsterland marksmen's tradition was evident in a day-long festival — from afternoon until the early morning hours.
The Allgemeiner Billerbecker Schützenverein continued its annual tradition in 2025. Schützenwiese am Weihgarten, parade in uniform, king's shooting competition, proclamation of the new marksmen's king, and a joint evening celebration in the tent — a typical Westphalian Schützenfest, driven by community life. The Billerbecker Blasorchester provided the musical accompaniment, and attendees came from Billerbeck and neighboring communities in the Coesfeld district.
