Overview

The Beelen Schützenfest 2025 (126th edition) was successfully held on the second weekend of July. The Bürgerschützenverein Beelen e.V., with its 1,400 members, conducted the Children's Schützenfest, Bird Shooting, Hampelmann Shooting, and crowning ceremonies. Three days of Münsterland shooting tradition marked the Beelen weekend — the parade, festival tent, King's Ball, and close-knit village community were once again the main attractions.

In 2025, the Bürgerschützenverein Beelen e.V. hosted its 126th Schützenfest in established tradition. Three festival days featured a classic Münsterland program including the Children's Schützenfest, Bird Shooting with the Queen's crowning on Sunday, and Hampelmann Shooting with the King's crowning on Monday. The parade through Beelen gathered the brotherhood in full strength; the festival tent was well-attended on all three evenings — a Schützenfest tradition since 1899, supported by practically every Beelen family.
