The 2025 Schützenfest continued the tradition of the Schützenverein Averbeck e.V. in the hamlet. Two days of festivities at the Schirmschoppe with the king's competition, celebration evening, and shooters' assembly brought together the citizens of Averbeck and friendly clubs.

In 2025, Münsterland's shooting club life remained a central element of village cohesion. The Schirmschoppe Averbeck – both the clubhouse and festival venue – provided the setting for the shooting club's two-day festival. The king's competition and celebration evening followed the established structure of a hamlet Schützenfest in the Borken district.
