Schützen- und Volksfest Steinbach am Wald

The previous edition in 2025 continued the unbroken tradition of the Schützen- und Volksfest since 1969: a four-day festival on the last weekend of August with a festival kick-off on Friday, king proclamation on Saturday, festival service and grand parade on Sunday, and children's parade on Monday.

As every year, the festival was the most important social event of the year for the Frankenwald community and attracted visitors from the entire Rennsteig region and the Kronach district.
