The 2025 heritage festival followed the pattern developed over the years: parade, King's shooting competition, fairground mile, dance evenings. The Gilde vun 1490 e.V. continued its centuries-old tradition, attracting thousands of visitors from Ostholstein, Lübeck, and the Holstein Switzerland region. The festival has long been a social highlight in Ahrensbök's summer calendar and in the surrounding area.
