Overview

The 444th Schriesheimer Mathaisemarkt 2025 brought together over 100,000 visitors over ten festival days in Germany's oldest wine town. The parade with dozens of floats, the festival tent with Bergstraße wines, the amusement park, art exhibitions, and live music characterized the traditional spring event on the Bergstraße.

At the 444th Schriesheimer Mathaisemarkt 2025, the Bergstraße wine town once again transformed into a festival ground for over 100,000 visitors. The grand parade featured dozens of themed floats and walking groups through the historic town center, and the festival tent was filled with wine lovers over the ten festival days, who tasted Bergstraße Riesling, Spätburgunder, and Müller-Thurgau. The amusement park with rides and showmen delighted families from the entire Rhine-Neckar region, and the art exhibitions as well as the live music in the festival tent and town center rounded off the program. The Mathaisemarkt once again confirmed its status as Germany's oldest wine festival and the most important festival kickoff in the southern German wine region.
