Four Fridays of Open-Air Music

The Schortenser Musiksommer is a voluntary success story. The Bürgerverein Schortens has been organizing the concert series for years, bringing concert fans from the entire region to the club grounds on Eilks- and Plaggestraße on four summer Friday evenings.

High-Quality Tribute Bands

The 2026 program features high-quality tribute bands, each dedicating their stage to a defining act. Kerner brings the hits of Nena, Smells Like Nirvana opens up the grunge world of the early 90s cosmos, The Red Hot revive the Californian rock energy of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Captain Dance concludes with a 90s dance and pop show.

Club Grounds as a Stage

The grounds of the Bürgerverein Schortens offer a relaxed open-air atmosphere. A marquee, stage, seating, and catering are set up in a well-coordinated manner, ensuring a smooth evening.

Catering from 6 p.m.

Catering opens at 6 p.m. each evening, allowing visitors to arrive at their leisure, fortify themselves with bratwurst, fries, beer, and cocktails, and then dive into the concerts starting at 7 p.m. The atmosphere intensifies with each concert Friday.

Free Admission

Admission is free – an important aspect of the voluntary club work. Donations for the Bürgerverein are welcome and ensure the continuation of the series in the coming years.
