Overview

The 4th edition of the Schöneweider Brückenfests took place on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM around the Kaisersteg. Under the motto “Diversity connects,” the SchöneVibes Kollektiv combined a dense program of industrial culture tours, concerts, theater, puppet shows, workshops, and open-air cinema. The traditional Spree swimming demonstration by the citizens' initiative “Ufer Frei” opened the festival day.

The 4th Schöneweider Brückenfest 2025 was held under the motto “Diversity connects” on July 19, 2025. Between 12:00 PM and 10:00 PM, Kaisersteg-Platz and the surrounding Spree promenades transformed into a festival area connecting Ober- and Niederschöneweide. Concerts, puppet shows, lectures, and workshops on the main stage, complemented by industrial culture tours, an arts and crafts and flea market, and exhibitions in the surrounding cultural venues (Kranbahn, Alte Kita, Novilla).

The day traditionally began with a Spree swimming demonstration by the citizens' initiative “Ufer Frei,” which campaigns for more public swimming spots on the Berlin Spree. After the main stage closed, the night program continued in the Alte Kita. Free admission, donations welcome — with the 4th edition, the SchöneVibes Kollektiv confirmed its claim as a driving force of Schöneweide's cultural development and laid the foundation for the 5th edition on July 4, 2026.
