In 2025, the Kolping Family Schönau once again hosted the traditional Kermes on a November weekend. The fair brought the village community of Schönau an der Brend together for dancing and socializing, continuing the long-standing tradition.
The Schönau Kermes 2025 continued the long Kirchweih tradition of the Rhön municipality. Over a November weekend, the Kolping Family Schönau organized the festivities with dancing, hearty cuisine, and beer.
As every year, the focus was on the convivial gathering of the village community. The Kermes once again affirmed the strong association and festival culture in the Rhön-Grabfeld district and laid the foundation for the 2026 edition.
