Edition 2025 — Kirchweih Schönbrunn
In 2025, Schönbrunn i.Steigerwald celebrated its Kirchweih on the first weekend of July, with Kirchweih Sunday on July 6th, together with the Steinsdorf district. The Kerwasjugend organized the multi-day festival with Kärwabaum, dancing, and festivities in the village center.
The official Kirchweih calendar of the municipality of Schönbrunn i.Steigerwald lists July 6th as the Kirchweih day for Schönbrunn and Steinsdorf in 2025. Thus, the Kerwa weekend was around the first weekend of July.
As every year, the Kerwasjugend organized the festival with the traditional erection of the Kärwabaum, the Kärwatanz, and the social program — a fixed date in the village life of Steigerwald.
