Open-Air Schlager night with Maite Kelly, Eloy De Jong and Marie Reim — on June 19, 2026
Jüterbog is located in the Teltow-Fläming district in southern Brandenburg, about 65 km south of Berlin. The town with just under 12,000 inhabitants has a medieval old town with a city wall, a castle, three large city gates (Dammtor, Zinnaer Tor, Neumarkter Tor), and a number of Gothic churches. The Schlosspark with the former Renaissance castle on Schloßstraße is a popular park on the edge of the old town — the Schlager festival takes place annually on the adjacent festival meadow.
The Schlager festival on the festival meadow at the Schlosspark is part of the Schlosspark Open Air Weekend, a festival weekend with three concerts of different genres on three consecutive evenings. The Schlager festival opens the weekend on Friday evening — the genre suits the audience from Brandenburg and southern Berlin: a mix of multi-generational family audiences, Schlager fans from the region, and day-trippers from Berlin and Halle. Starts at 6 p.m. — concerts last until approx. 11 p.m.
Maite Kelly — daughter of the Kelly Family, since her solo career from 2013, one of the defining voices of German Schlager. With hits like "Sieben Leben für dich" or "Sing-mit-Lieder," she is one of the best-selling Schlager artists. Headliner of the evening. Eloy De Jong — Dutch-German singer, member of Caught in the Act before his solo career, today a permanent fixture in the German Schlager scene with a focus on pop-Schlager. Marie Reim — daughter of Matthias Reim, rising star of the younger Schlager generation, with her own style between pop and Schlager.
The festival meadow at Schlosspark on Schloßstraße 44 is an open meadow on the edge of the park. Stands and a stage will be set up for the festival, and a catering area with bratwurst, fries, beer, wine, and drinks suitable for Schlager stars will be set up. The concerts are designed as open-air events — ideally, attendees should bring a rain jacket and comfortable shoes.
The festival is part of the Schlosspark Open Air Weekend, June 19-21, 2026. Further concerts of other genres (Pop, Rock — details at jueterbog.eu) will follow on Sat, June 20, and Sun, June 21. Those who want the full program can book accommodation packages in Jüterbog — the town has several hotels and guesthouses, many directly in the old town. Travel by car via the A 9 (Berlin-Munich), exit Niemegk, then B 102; by train via RE 7 from Berlin Hbf directly to Jüterbog.
The 2026 Schlager festival brings three of the most successful German Schlager artists to Jüterbog: Maite Kelly as headliner, Eloy De Jong and Marie Reim as co-acts. The festival meadow at Schlosspark transforms for one evening into an open-air stage with grandstands and festival atmosphere.
