Schlosshofkonzerte Tübingen

The Schlosshofkonzerte 2025 continued the long-standing tradition. Five evenings at the end of July and beginning of August transformed the Hohentübingen castle courtyard into an open-air stage with concerts ranging from classical, chanson, musical, and pop. The organizer was the University City of Tübingen, under the leadership of the Cultural Office.

The 2025 edition once again recorded very good visitor numbers — the festival has developed over the years into a central summer classic of Tübingen's cultural landscape. However, the city's difficult budget situation led to discussions about its continuation — a debate that extended into 2026 and was ultimately resolved by a private donation in favor of the Schlosshofkonzerte.
