Edition 2025 — Schlossfest Hainewalde
The Schlossfest Hainewalde 2025 already prepared for the grand anniversary year 2026. Even then, the festival followed the proven concept 'From the Middle Ages to the Baroque' — craftsmen, staged combat, and historical music characterized the days in the castle park. The Hainewalde Castle Association organized the event together with minstrels from all over Upper Lusatia.
The 2025 edition was a dress rehearsal for the grand 2026 anniversary festival. Even then, it became clear how impressively the castle and its park can serve as a historical stage. Staged combat, taverns, and musical performances created the atmosphere.
For many visitors from Zittau, Görlitz, and all of Upper Lusatia, the Hainewalde Schlossfest is an annual must-attend event. With the expanded program in 2026 (700th Anniversary), the festival reaches its provisional peak.
