Overview

The 188th Annaburg Castle and Local Festival took place from June 18th to 22nd, 2025, under the theme «The incomparable chart show». Crowning of the 3rd Rose Princess on Wednesday evening, comedy with Mrs. Andrea, local festival evening with local clubs, marquee party, sparkling wine breakfast, and Sunday concert with «Die POPSORBEN».

The 188th edition was themed «The incomparable chart show». Opening on Wednesday, June 18th, with the Rose Festival and the crowning of the 3rd Annaburg Rose Princess by her predecessor Paula. Thursday featured comedy cabaret with Mrs. Andrea, Friday «The incomparable chart show» with schools, fire brigade, and clubs, followed by an after-party with video DJ Chris Energy. Saturday included a sparkling wine breakfast, family program, torchlight procession, and live band «Green Sapphire». Sunday featured music in the marquee, a Howard Carpendale tribute performance, and the closing concert by «Die POPSORBEN». Notably: The children's dance group «Annaburg Heideröschen» (over 20 children, ages 5–11) officially performed as a club department for the first time.
