Schloss Mirow Klassik — Edition 2025

The new »Schloss Mirow Klassik« concert series premiered on August 24, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the ballroom of Mirow Castle. The Mozart Ensemble Berlin performed »Hunting Quartets of the Classical Era« for the opening – works by Joseph Martin Kraus, Joseph Haydn, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, documenting the 18th century's enthusiasm for hunting and its musical translation into the string quartet.

Tickets cost 36 EUR (reduced 29 EUR) and were available via Eventim, Classictic, Pagagena (030 47997447), as well as at local tourist information centers and the castle box office. The premiere confirmed the concept of presenting classical chamber music in the historically appropriate setting of the ballroom – and laid the foundation for the expanded 2026 season with four concerts from March to June.
