Review of Schleswig swingt 2025
The 2025 edition of the festival took place from July 10 to 12 – three days of street music festival in the historic pedestrian zone of Schleswig. Over 30 bands performed on the three main stages at Capitolplatz, Kornmarkt, and Gallberg, complemented by the cabaret stage and the mobile disco bus.
On the Stoll-Haus-Bühne at Capitolplatz, Die Zweite played on Friday, July 11, starting at 6:00 PM, followed by Rolling Banquet, a 7-piece combo playing rock classics, starting at 8:15 PM. Other bands from indie, pop, jazz, and funk performed on the other stages. The Schleswig fanfare traditionally opened the festival with its parade through the pedestrian zone. The free festival attracted around 10,000 visitors to the Viking city.
