The 31st edition of the SchlemmerMarkt Rhein-Maas took place in August 2025, traditionally over four days at Roßtorplatz and Patersgraben in Wassenberg. Top gastronomy, regional producers, and international specialties, a presentation of the Golden Schlemmerente, and live music on the market stage characterized the weekend. The 2025 edition laid the groundwork for the 32nd edition in 2026 with Stefano Zarella as the recipient of the Golden Schlemmerente.

The 31st edition of the SchlemmerMarkt Rhein-Maas was held in August 2025 by the City of Wassenberg and WFG Heinsberger Land at Roßtorplatz and Patersgraben in Wassenberg. Admission was free.

Over four days, participating restaurateurs, wine producers, and specialty dealers presented their products. The presentation of the Golden Schlemmerente marked the traditional opening highlight. Live music on the market stage, culinary guided tours, tastings, and a family program rounded off the weekend. Several tens of thousands of visitors from the Heinsberg region, the Aachen area, and nearby Dutch Roermond attended the market — confirming its reputation as one of the most important culinary city festivals on the western Lower Rhine. The 2025 edition laid the groundwork for the 32nd edition in 2026 with Stefano Zarella as the recipient of the Golden Schlemmerente.
