Overview

In February 2025, the Scheidegg Cheese Weeks once again attracted guests to the West Allgäu highlands. Two weeks of cheese tradition, hikes, tastings, and a festive conclusion with a horse-drawn carriage formed the framework of the program.

The 2025 edition of the Cheese Weeks followed the proven two-week concept with hikes to cheesemaker families, cheese tastings, cooking classes, torchlight hikes, and a connection to the local carnival. Scheidegg Tourism was the organizer, as in subsequent years.

The Cheese Weeks are a winter highlight in Scheidegg's event calendar, attracting guests from the Lake Constance region, the Allgäu, and Vorarlberg. The combination of culinary delights and the mountain world distinguishes them from typical city cheese events.
