Back in 2025, the 'Lebendige Steine' association invited visitors in spring to the plant market at the Satow church ruin. Garden enthusiasts from the community and the Rostock district swapped seedlings, perennials, and herbs, and enjoyed the morning chatting in the idyllic ruin setting.

The plant market at the Satow church ruin is one of the events with which the 'Lebendige Steine' association opens the spring season. In 2025, hobby gardeners once again displayed their home-grown plants in the park around the historic ruin. What was left over from their own gardens was swapped or given away for a small fee. The interaction between the old walls and the community-focused format once again made the market a popular spring event in Satow.
