Overview

The Sankt Pieschen 2025 neighbourhood festival took place on the first weekend of June, continuing the Hofmusik concept of the Sankt Pieschen e.V. association. Several stages in the backyards and squares of Pieschen offered a genre crossover from Indie to Reggae to Hip-Hop, accompanied by artist markets, workshops, and a fun run Sunday.

In 2025, Sankt Pieschen once again transformed Dresden's Pieschen district into a decentralized festival mile on the first weekend of June. Dozens of concerts in backyards, workshops, and squares, a lively artist market, screen printing workshops, and the traditional ecumenical church service on Sunday morning characterized the weekend.

The voluntary sponsorship by Sankt Pieschen e.V. and the team of a hundred helpers made the festival a true community celebration of the district — free admission, financed by food and drink revenue and donations. An important preparation for the 20th-anniversary celebration in 2026.
