Sail Sassnitz continued its tradition in August 2025 in Sassnitz harbour. Traditional sailing ships docked in the harbour, regattas, and a colourful cultural programme turned the harbour area into a maritime festival mile on Rügen Island.

In August 2025, Sail Sassnitz continued its tradition as a maritime sailing festival. In the harbour, ship bells rang to announce the start of Sail Sassnitz, traditional sailing ships set their sails and invited guests for day trips on the Baltic Sea.

Regattas, a colourful cultural and stage programme, and gastronomic delights transformed the harbour area into a festival mile for all age groups. The family-friendly festival was accessible free of charge in many viewing areas and confirmed its reputation as a maritime summer highlight of Sassnitz.
