The 5th Sälzerfest 2025 continued the Salzkotten folk festival tradition on Palm Sunday. Salt boiling at the market square, cannon shots, Spielmannszug music, and a well-attended market with handicrafts and gastronomy attracted thousands of visitors from the Paderborn district.

The 2025 edition solidified the Sälzerfest as the opening event of Salzkotten's annual calendar. The market square and Lange Straße were fully occupied as the festival's core.

Programme

Salt boiling to start, 92 stalls across the market square and Lange Straße, family oasis, Sunday shopping 1 PM–6 PM.
