Overview

The 40th edition of the Saarwellinger Schlossfest celebrated a significant anniversary from August 1 to 3, 2025. On the Schlossplatz, two stages were featured over three days, along with a summer funfair, a Children's Island, and the traditional keg tapping on Friday evening. The program was noticeably expanded, with an additional Sunday concert for the anniversary.

The festival kicked off on Friday evening with the keg tapping at 6:00 PM. Afterward, Rock Factory performed with classics from Toto to Journey, and Cover Banga with pop, rock'n'roll, NDW, and party Schlager. Saturday featured No Matter What with Latin jazz, pop, and soul, Elliot with NDW hits and rock & chart music, and Langer Mütze with party hits. On Sunday, Fooling Around played handmade rock & pop from Elvis to Johannes Oerding. The family Sunday was enhanced by the magic circus "kikifax" by Jakob Mathias and the free Children's Island with a giant slide.
