The Saalfelder Detscherfest 2025 gathered numerous lovers of the Thuringian potato specialty in Saalfeld's market square. Detscher baking on historic ovens, Saalfeld beer, malt coffee, and the afternoon classic car show once again characterized the day.
Detscherfest 2025 – Review
In 2025, the Detscherfest followed its tried-and-tested pattern: volunteer teams baked on the historic ovens, Saalfeld beer flowed generously, and live music accompanied the show cooking. In the afternoon, the classic cars of the "Feengrotten Classics" rolled into the market square – a format that has rounded off the city festival for years.
The event is organized by the Cultural Office of the City of Saalfeld in cooperation with the festival committee and local clubs.
