Saalestrand 2025 — Summer on the Saale riverbank

As every year from Ascension Day, the Bleichwiese on the Saale riverbank was transformed into a beach bar in 2025. The season ended in early August, followed by the Rudolstadt-Festival and the general holiday period. Throughout the season, live concerts and themed evenings were held, and sports broadcasts set the mood during major tournaments.

The combination of low admission prices (completely free), a relaxed atmosphere, and live music makes Saalestrand a permanent fixture of Rudolstadt's summer program — a complement to the Rudolstadt-Festival, which takes place annually at the end of June / beginning of July on the same riverbank.
