The Rundlingsmuseum Wendland in Lübeln (municipality of Küsten) is one of the most important cultural-historical museums in the Wendland region — and a central wonder point with its own special programme during the Kulturelle Landpartie. From May 14 to 25, 2026, the museum is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm.
The Rundlinge (round villages) are a unique village form: they were established from the 12th century onwards by West Slavic farmers — farmsteads are grouped in a circle around a central village square with only one access point. With over 100 preserved Rundlinge, the Wendland region has the largest concentration of this village form worldwide and is a candidate for UNESCO World Heritage status.
During the KLP, the Rundlingsmuseum not only opens its regular exhibitions — it offers a special programme centred around the festival theme:

Lübeln is a classic Rundling and belongs to the municipality of Küsten in the district of Lüchow-Dannenberg. The museum brings the history, architecture, and culture of this unique village form to life — and is a perfect starting point during the KLP for exploring further wonder points in the western Wendland region.
