Overview

The 18th edition of the Run Between the Seas once again brought up to 800 teams from Husum to Damp. As every year, the event was fully booked within weeks — the run is a mandatory date in the Schleswig-Holstein sports calendar.

In 2025, the Run Between the Seas once again delivered what it's known for: 800 teams, 92 kilometers, ten stages, one day — from Husum to Damp. The Pasta Party the evening before in the festival tent on Damp action beach brought participants together before the competition, and on race day, the course uniquely combined sport and geography.

In the state of Schleswig-Holstein, there are few sporting events that connect so directly with the region's unique landscape. The Run Between the Seas is one of them — and in 2025, it once again solidified its position as a classic in the Northern German running calendar.
