Overview

The Rügener Hafentage 2025 took place on the second weekend of July in Sassnitz's city harbour. As every year, the festival mile, two stages, sailing ships, and a grand fireworks display transformed the harbour into Rügen Island's largest maritime Volksfest.

In 2025, the Rügener Hafentage once again attracted thousands of visitors to Sassnitz's city harbour. The approximately 1.5-kilometre-long festival mile from the east to the west harbour was lined with vendors, food stalls, and amusement rides. A colourful entertainment programme for all generations ran on two stages.

Historic sailing ships, a sailing regatta, and the grand fireworks display on Saturday evening were among the highlights. The festival once again confirmed its reputation as the maritime summer highlight of Rügen Island – with free admission.
