Overview
The Rudolstädter Sommer 2025 combined the 31st Old Town Festival at the beginning of June with the Rudolstadt-Festival at the beginning of July. In between, there were readings, classical concerts at Heidecksburg Castle, open-air cinema, and theatre performances, as well as the traditional Saalestrand (Saale Beach). Rudolstadt once again proved itself as a cultural summer residence in the Saale valley.
Rudolstädter Sommer 2025
In the summer of 2025, the city's multi-week cultural program once again ran from early June to the end of July. The Old Town Festival kicked off the summer on the first weekend of June, and the Rudolstadt-Festival at the beginning of July marked the highlight with over 300 Folk and World Music events. In between, there were classical concerts at Heidecksburg Castle, readings, open-air cinema, and the Saalestrand (Saale Beach), created with 60 tons of sand on the banks of the Saale River.
