Overview

The 31st Rudolstadt Old Town Festival once again transformed the historic old town into a free festival mile in 2025. Concerts, dancing, and culinary delights in the alleys and squares of the city center attracted visitors from all over the Saale Valley. The Open Thuringian Dance Competition also marked the weekend.

Old Town Festival 2025 in Retrospect

The 31st Old Town Festival proved to be the central early summer musical event of the Saalestadt. The market stage offered three days of live music, alongside dance performances, children's programs, and culinary offerings in the Renaissance alleys around the market and town hall.

The city administration had already experimented with the club mile in 2024 – a format that will be firmly integrated into the program in 2026. The Open Thuringian Dance Competition «Thüringer Löwe» took place in its 18th edition in 2025.
