The RT-Cup Wismar 2025 was held in August on the historic market square and marked the tournament's 25th anniversary. On the piled-up sand, amateur and hobby teams competed in beach volleyball, accompanied by music, commentary, and catering. The proceeds benefited charitable projects in the city.
The RT-Cup Wismar 2025 took place in August on the market square of the Hanseatic city, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the beach volleyball tournament. As every year, numerous truckloads of sand transformed the historic square into a playing field between the brick gables.
Amateur and hobby teams played for the cup all day long, accompanied by music, commentary, prize draws, and catering. As usual, the RT-Cup was organized by the non-profit RT-Cup Wismar e.V., which passed on the proceeds to social and sporting projects in Wismar.
