Overview

The 13th edition in 2025 attracted wine lovers, World Heritage tourists, and residents of Potsdam for three days to the Royal Vineyard on Klausberg. Winemakers from all over Germany, presentation of the 2024 vintage, Baroque scenes on Saturday, and sparkling wine brunch on Sunday — the association once again raised funds for the recultivation of the vineyard.

13th Royal Wine Festival 2025 — Review

The 2025 edition continued the established festival program: Friday an elegant opening evening, Saturday the main event with the presentation of the new vintage from Königlicher Weinberg, Baroque scenes, and an appearance by the German Wine Queen, Sunday a sparkling wine brunch with a concert. Winemakers from Mosel, Rheingau, Pfalz, Württemberg, Saale-Unstrut, Saxony, and Brandenburg presented their wines against the backdrop of the Belvedere. The proceeds once again went entirely to the care of the historic vineyard — a model that has proven annually since the vineyard's revival in 2003 that cultural-historical preservation and wine culture can be successfully combined.
