In 2025, the Rostock Whitsun Market once again enlivened the city harbour during the Whitsun weekend. With around 60 showmen, rides, a Ferris wheel, and a traders' mile along the quay, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's oldest folk festival continued its over 600-year tradition.
The 2025 edition continued the centuries-old tradition of the Rostock Whitsun Market. As usual, the city harbour transformed into a venue for rides, game stalls, and market activities during the Whitsun weekend. Around 60 showmen and traders lined the harbour promenade, a Ferris wheel turned over the Warnow, and North German specialities provided the culinary offerings. The family day with reduced prices was also part of the proven concept.
