Rostock Medieval Spectacle in IGA Park

From June 7th to 9th, 2025, the Pentecost Spectacle attracted thousands of visitors daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM to the festival meadow of IGA Park. A food, mead, and craft market with around 85 stalls, as well as 14 historically equipped military encampments, provided the setting for a packed stage program: show combats, knight tournaments, jesters, fire shows, and medieval concerts (including the band Feuerdorn on Saturday evening) alternated on two stages. On Pentecost Sunday, the grand Pentecost Fire burned until midnight, accompanied by a knight tournament and torchlight procession. Organizer Vehi Mercatus established the event as a fixture in Northern Germany within three years.
