Rostock City Run

The 33rd edition of the Rostock City Run led through the historic centre of the Hanseatic city again in 2025. Starting from the Neuer Markt, several thousand participants set off on the various distances — from the Bambini and school runs over distances of three, six, and ten kilometres to the half marathon and the relay. The city centre, closed to traffic, belonged entirely to running for one day. Music, entertainment, and refreshment stations along the route ensured the usual festive atmosphere of the region's largest running event.
