Overview

In 2025, the Rostock Christmas Market once again stretched over three kilometers through the Hanseatic city's center. With over 300 exhibitors, the 34-meter-high Ferris wheel, the fairy tale forest, and the Historical Christmas Market at Kloster zum Heiligen Kreuz, it once again attracted numerous visitors to the festively illuminated old town.

The 2025 edition continued the tradition of Northern Germany's largest Christmas market. As usual, the market extended over three kilometers from Neuer Markt through Kröpeliner Straße and Universitätsplatz to Kröpeliner Tor and Fischerbastion. Over 300 showmen and traders offered arts and crafts, decorations, and culinary specialties. The 34-meter-high Ferris wheel, the fairy tale forest, and the Historical Christmas Market at Kloster zum Heiligen Kreuz were among the attractions, along with a continuous entertainment program and the popular family days on Wednesdays.
