Overview
In 2025, the annual park festival "Rosengartenfesttage" was also celebrated in the East German Rose Garden Forst. Three days of stage program, cut rose show, park tours, family day, and the Night of 1000 Lights marked the festival weekend in Wehrinselpark — embedded in the rose horticultural tradition of the historic park. Organizer: City of Forst (Lausitz) / East German Rose Garden.
The 2025 edition continued the multi-year tradition of the Rosengartenfesttage. With its combination of stage program and rose park character, the festival has established itself as one of the most prominent summer festivals in the eastern Lower Lusatia.
The East German Rose Garden — created in 1913 — is one of the most important rose park complexes in Germany and attracts tens of thousands of visitors annually to the historic Wehrinselpark.
