Edition 2025 — Castle Christmas Römhild
The 2025 Castle Christmas took place on the second Advent weekend, December 6 and 7, 2025, at Glücksburg Castle. Saturday evening featured a gastronomic program in the castle courtyard, while Sunday offered a full market day with arts and crafts and concerts. The children's bakery event and the visit from Santa Claus on Sunday afternoon were again highlights. The town of Römhild and Glücksburg Castle jointly presented one of Southern Thuringia's most atmospheric Advent markets.
Römhild Castle Christmas 2025
The 2025 edition once again confirmed the special charm of the event. On Saturday evening (5:00 PM–9:00 PM), mulled wine, festive music, and the illuminated castle set the atmosphere, while Sunday (11:00 AM–8:00 PM) provided a full market day. Vendors from the region showcased arts and crafts, the Thuringian Court Musicians performed in the castle rooms, and the children's bakery event attracted many families. Santa Claus distributed gifts starting at 5:00 PM on Sunday.
