Overview

In 2025, the Schwanenteichpark was once again transformed into a romantic light scene as part of the Robert Schumann Festival. Thousands of visitors enjoyed the mix of boat trips, candlelight, and musical accompaniment — a vibrant tradition dating back to 1860.

The 2025 edition adhered to the proven concept: starting at 6 PM, light show from dusk, boat rentals, craft activities for children, and a varied musical program. The festival has been an integral part of the Schumann Festival since 1860 and is considered one of the most romantic program points in Zwickau's summer calendar.

The combination of a historic park, gentle light play on the water's surface, and classical music makes the festival an experience that strongly evokes the atmosphere of Robert Schumann.
