Edition 2025 — Christmas Market Burg Wissem
The 23rd edition of the Romantic Christmas Market at Burg Wissem took place on the third Advent weekend of 2025. The castle courtyard, castle avenue, and stable once again offered handicrafts, mulled wine, and a diverse family program — the market confirmed its reputation as one of the most atmospheric Advent markets in the Rhein-Sieg district.
In 2025, the city of Troisdorf continued the successful concept: over 60 decorated stalls outside, 15 more in the stable, crackling fires, and live music in the castle courtyard. Kreativwerkstatt Troisdorf e.V. once again organized the handicraft area in the stable with jewelry, ceramics, wood, and textile art from regional providers.
The historic mini-train and the nostalgic carousel brought smiles to children's faces on all three days; St. Nicholas visited the market several times a day.
