rockXplosion — 40th Warmbronner Open Air

At the 39th edition of the Warmbronner Open Air in 2025, thousands of fans from the South German rock and metal scene gathered again in early August at the Alte Waldsportplatz Leonberg-Warmbronn. Over 30 bands on two stages covered the spectrum from Heavy Metal to classic Rock, Punk, Ska, and Metalcore. As since 1985, admission was free, with camping included – a model that is almost unique in today's festival landscape. The family program with face painting, the popular Metal Karaoke, and the awareness team rounded off the festival. The volunteers of Warmbronner Open Air e.V. once again demonstrated that an authentic, free festival experience is not extinct in the 21st century.
