ROCKWOOL Germany Sail Grand Prix Sassnitz

In 2025, Sassnitz hosted the Germany Sail Grand Prix for the first time. Against the backdrop of the chalk cliffs of Rügen, the national teams engaged in spectacular races on the Baltic Sea on their F50 catamarans.

The event attracted around 13,000 spectators and was sold out. With this first edition, Sassnitz established itself as a regular host of the international SailGP series and a meeting point for the sailing scene on the Baltic coast.
